Organised by Sampoorn (a NGO dedicated to crafts and craftspersons), Soul Flea promises to be a haven for shopaholics. And, we have no doubts about that, going by their lineup of over 150 stalls, offering everything from handmade products, apparel and home decor to food and music. With some engaging workshops as well, they have gone on to make sure there will be enough for your little tykes too.
Shop till you drop
Browse through handcrafted lifestyle products (think home decor, bath and body products, and apparel) from Satva Lifestyle Company, the new collection of bespoke wooden furniture from By The Riverside, upcycled and handmade bags or clutches from Creative Box (to name a few, of course!). Also vying for your attention will be stalls offering ethnic and indo-western apparel, jewellery, design products made from scrap fabric, ceramic serveware and handmade soaps, among others. We love that they also have paintings done on canvas (with different media like oil, acrylic and water colours) and charcoal shadings on handmade paper up for sale.
Get some grub
Tired of shopping (if that's even possible)? Hit up their food stalls, mostly by home chefs and home bakers, we hear. Choose from sandwiches, Chinese dishes, cupcakes and much more to satiate your hunger pangs. Sign up for workshops on jewellery-making or pottery-making while the kids try their hand at some clay play. Oh, and city-based band, Aathma will keep you pumped up with their fun rock music. So, whether you make it a date or a family outing, we suggest you plan your Sunday right away.
