Part of Soundarya’s second album ‘Riding Daylight’, it’s produced by Bharat Goel, a known Bollywood producer. Fun fact: This song has been on the back burner for almost four years! Now, slated for a November release, it promises to be a hit!
For those who don’t know this musical powerhouse, you’re missing out, so let’s fill you in. Bangalore based Soundarya Jayachandran is a Mount Carmel College graduate and a full fledged Bangalorean. She shot to fame during The Stage when she swept Vishal Dadlani off his feet with her rendition of Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black. There was no turning back after that! With a strong background and foundation in Indian classical music, she looks up to artists like John Mayer and Alanis Morissette among others.
Her first album was Shades of Revival and earned her high praise from artists like Monica Dogra and Ehsaan Noorani. In her alone time, she relaxes by sketching. Food and cats make her the happiest.
