What's Happening

SraSTAra translates to ‘creator’ in Sanskrit, and this event seeks to promote creators of Indian art forms. Find handloom fabrics from all over the country like Kalamkaris and Badalpuri, handicrafts like Channapatna toys, home decor products and tribal jewellery. Art buffs, you will love the complex geometric patterns of Madhubani paintings and Pattachitra - traditional Oriya cloth-based paintings. If you’re shopping for knick knacks to decorate your home, you’ll find mosaic lamps from Jaipur, clay cutlery, and elegant brass statues. There’s even a large collection of antiques, too. You’ll come across period pieces dating 50 or even 100 years old, so you can take home a piece of history with you.
