Beyond average
After a successful first edition (which had the likes of Russell Peters and Bill Burr, we must add), Only Much Louder (a Mumbai-based entertainment management company)'s comedy heavy event series, Stage42 is back for a bigger round two this year. With over 100 shows scheduled to take place across ten cities, the event will have music and comedy performances by Indian and international artistes. With acts titled Not Your Average Weekend, Not Your Average Chemistry Teacher and Not Your Average Bromance, we think you could be assured this will be anything but your average comedy and music event.
Chock-full of shows
From stand-up to impersonations and an improvised sketch show, the comedy lineup includes artistes like Radhika Vaz, Kanan Gill, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Nishant Tanwar, Abish Mathew, Suresh Menon, Sumukhi Suresh, Naveen Richard and Kenny Sebastian among others. Look out for Miles Allen (US-based artiste) who will floor you with his skilled impersonations as he breaks down all the seasons of TV series, Breaking Bad into a one-hour show.
Get your fix of music with performances by Parvaaz (city-based experimental rock band), Mahesh Raghunandan (a city-based independent musician known for his John Mayer-esque style of music) and Boyce Avenue (a US-based three-piece acoustic rock band). If that isn't enough, you also have a hip-hop music performance, Street Beat, featuring Nucleya, Baba Sehgal and Naezy.
