Ten-second takeaway

Some of the best restaurants (26 of them) participating around town, cooking workshops and a movie screening - The SteppinOut Food Festival is here.

Food overload

Organised by SteppinOut (an app that offers a lifestyle membership programme to access privileges and deals at premium outlets in the city), here's a food festival that you shouldn't miss. Apart from a lineup of 26 restaurants serving everything from Indian dishes to Chinese and Mediterranean cuisine, the event will have a bunch of home bakers and chefs serving their delicious fare. And, no, stuffing your face with food is not the only thing you can do here. Sign up for cooking workshops by Chef Abhijit Saha and Chef Priyank Chauhan, or catch the screening of the popular film, Chef. There will also be a performance by an acoustic band, we hear. Food, music and movies - we couldn't possibly ask for more!

Get set, eat

Look forward to quirky dishes from The Open Box (think Bhunna Shepherd's Pie and Dal Lasagna), Bombay Iranian delights from SodaBottleOpenerWala, pan-Indian dishes from India Kitchen and tropical flavours from The Big Kahuna. The newly-opened dhaba-style gastropub, Horn Ok Please, will be making an appearance with their desi fare (with a twist). Also, on the menu will be seafood from The Fisherman's Wharf, vegetarian treats from Sukh Sagar and pizzas from California Pizza Kitchen. For your Mexican food fix, there's Sancho's, and dessert enthusiasts have Cheatz and the old-time favourite Lakeview Milkbar to choose from. If you think food festivals are not complete without a dose of alcohol, there's Hangover's cocktail and beer bar taking care of that. There will also be hookah from Kargeens, at a separate spot. Need we say more? Block your Sunday right away!
