What Is It?
Oh what a wonderful experience it was to watch The Lion King and Harry Potter out in the open on the lawns of JW Marriot. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, then you likely missed the debut of the SteppinOut Movie Nights {an initiative of the city-based lifestyle membership program}. But the good news is that it’s already time for The Sequel! The agenda remains the same. So expect to be lazing about on bean bags, mattresses or just the soft grass while watching films and munching on quintessential festival-food. What films you ask? Well, after the poll that everyone was party to on Facebook, the final votes are in favour of Dil Chahta Hai and The Shawshank Redemption. For all those too lazy to go to the food counter, Swiggy will happily bring you food from across the city, straight to your beanbag!
Who Is It For?
For those who remember the days of drive-ins or would like to relive those good old-days of open-air film theatres, book a ticket now! An all-round family day, it’s a great option if you want to do nothing on Sunday but still do something. In fact, it’s like one big living room. So bring your parents, grandparents, kids, partners, neighbours and make a picnic of it.
