Life In Stop Motion Workshop With Sharanya Ramesh

What's Happening?

If you've always wondered about how Coraline, The Lego Movie and The Boxtrolls were made, and are in awe of the process of stop motion, this workshop is just for you. The sessions will be led by Sharanya Ramesh, an independent filmmaker and stop motion animator, whose most recent production, Thatha's Secret, was selected for the Aspen Shortsfest, La Guarimba - Italy, Pune Short Film Festival and the Athens Animfest, among others. At this six-day workshop, which runs on February 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29, you will be taken through the basics of puppet design, claymation , ideation, story boarding as well as post-production. We can't wait to be pros at flip book animation!

The workshop will be charged at INR 4,500 and will run from 10am to 2pm on the given dates, at BLR Flux, in Indiranagar.

BLR Flux is a new community space for collaborative performances that is adding to the culture and charm of Indiranagar. Whether it’s film, dance, photography or even fine arts, the folks running the space will definitely have something for you. Be it workshops or an exhibition space for you to present your work, you can even check out the space for fun events like improv.
