What Makes It Awesome

From travel tags to cutlery caddies, Studiopia, a Bangalore-based brand, crafts stunning home decor pieces using decoupage and mixed media. Sneha Mehta, a former interior designer, launched Studiopia in the summer of 2016. The decor brand specialises in handcrafted decor offerings that showcase decoupage and mixed media elements. Scroll through their social media and you’ll see that each item displays a slice of whimsy and exude vintage charm.

What we love is that Mehta infuses seemingly mundane elements into her work. An avid traveller, Mehta brings back loads of everyday materials from the places she visits to incorporate into her work. For example, one of her pieces will have a brochure from the Louvre or another will feature leaves she has collected from a park in Spain.

Studiopia regularly unveils new products on their dedicated Instagram page. You can pick from trays, cutlery caddies, remote holders, luggage tags, tissue boxes and whatnot. They are also open to taking on large orders, say, for weddings and other occasions. You can sit with Mehta and customise the products the way you’d like them and each will then be handmade for you.

For now, Mehta mostly retails her products through Facebook and pop-ups. Click on Enquire Now to place online orders. Prices start from INR 150 and go up to INR 5,000.
