This Cool Cycle Store Sells Premium Bikes, Organises Fun Events And Has A Garage Too
What Makes It Awesome
Started by Rohan Kini, BOTS is one of Bangalore’s favourite bike shop that’s become a one-stop shop for the cycling enthusiast all around the city. They regularly conduct maintenance workshops that cover all kinds of topics ranging from fixing a flat tire or a chain break. We don’t know about you guys, but we definitely would like to attend one of the classes on flat tires and fixing a puncture as we often encounter those during our one-off cycle rides. In case you are looking for a cycling group to cycle with, BOTS has people from all walks of life gathering together on weekends for rides around the town.
The store in Jayanagar has that typical bicycle shop facade with bicycles neatly arranged on stands that will make your innermost perfectionist smile in happiness. Look around the shop and you will see that it’s well stocked with all biking basics including helmets, shoes, gloves, splash guards, and air pumps. If you are a noob, worry not as the guys at the store will be more than happy to help you out with anything from picking the right cycle to accessories that you absolutely have to buy.
They mainly deal with premium segment cycles, so don’t go there expecting Hero Cycles. You are more likely to find brands such as Bergamont, Specialized, and Merida. Mountain, road, and hybrid types are what’s in store and the starts at roughly INR 22,000. Apart from kids, single speed, and touring bikes, they also deal with framesets as well. In case, you are looking to upgrade your beast, you know where to look up.
There’s a well-equipped workspace as well and that’s where all the repairs, workshops, and classes happen. Take a look around and you are likely to see bikes in a dismantled state or getting a gear upgrade done.
