What Is It?

The Alipore Post is taking their online newsletter, a curated dose of art, literature, poetry, and music, offline this weekend. On Sunday, November 5, The Courtyard House will see a day full of poetry, books, live music, workshops and great food. From poetry reading and appreciation to letter writing workshops, this is going to be an arts and culture treat.

Who Is It For?

This one is for all you culture vultures in the city. A whole day dedicated to the arts sounds like an ideal way to spend the Sunday to us. Get to be part of a like-minded community of Bangaloreans while you soak in the poetry, music and good vibes.

Why Should I Go For It?

With a packed schedule full of activities, from a hula-hooping workshop to a minimal tattoo studio that will be set up at the venue, there’s plenty to see and do here. With a bunch of events under categories like poetry, books, art and music, be a part of a marble painting workshop, gawk at the art and poetry collages in the Poetree corner and stock up on books from the Goobe’s Book Republic and Bawarchi Books who will be setting up stalls at the venue and catch live performances by artists Abhijeet Tambe, Jeevan Antony and Deidra. Phew! All that activity is bound to build an appetite. No worries! With Third Wave Coffee Roasters, Gitanjali Singh of Punny Cakes setting up shop and healthy munchies by Green Wonder Bowl, there’ll be plenty to gorge on too. Sounds like the perfect Sunday to us.
