There were two friends in Malleswaram 15th cross viz, Idli and Vada. Idli came out from a sauna, was fair, soft and looked great. Vada on the other side, swam in hot oil, and had a rough day before making it out of hot oil. As a result, Vada was dark. Idli always teased Vada for its complexion. Vada would give back to idli saying that idli was too soft to be handled, and that Vada was tough and crisp. This fight would go on everyday. One day, God decided to put an end to this never ending fight. God Wanted to teach them both a lesson.
God Got these two on to a plate. Poured a wholesome spicy green chutney on them. It made them both green. Idli lost its fairness and Vada lost its crisp. Idli and Vada had a common identity now: Idli-Vada-chutney. They combined together to be friends forever
