    Book Worms! The Times LitFest Is Back For Its Third Edition

    Times LitFest {presented by Act Fibrenet}, the yearly gathering of writers, celebrities, book-lovers, opinion makers, activists and thinkers, is back for its third edition in Bengaluru.

    And This Year's Theme Is

    Discover. Yes, as in discover awesome books, ideas, trends, connections and people.

    So, Who Is Participating?

    The who's who of the literary world, of course. International writers like Krys Lee {author of Drifting House and How I Became A North Korean}, Singaporean Suchen Christine, William Dalrymple, Janice Pariat, and Indian writers like Anita Nair, Vasudhendra and more will be part of the event.


    The LitFest will kick start with Jairam Ramesh delivering the keynote address on the topic 'Discovering Earth And Environment'. With participation from over 80 writers across board, the discussion topics will range from feminism and minority rights to demonetisation and current times.

    The event will also see Vir Das in discussion with Trisha Das {his sister} about her book Ms Draupadi Kuru.

    Since the fest is hosted in the IT capital, it is only customary to dedicate sections on start-ups and Internet Commerce. Here, you can join the industry stalwarts like the CEO of Big Basket, founder of Byju's {the learning app} and the co-founder of Mobikwik as they take you through discussions on the hot topics.

    Anything Else?

    Bollywood biggies like Rishi Kapoor, Piyush Pandey and Ila Arun will be a part of the event. And that's not is, the event will host a discussion on the phenomenon of Rajnikanth too!

    Wanna get in on the action before everyone else? Go and be part of the Masterclass taking place at the Chancery pavillion on the Residency road on Feb 10 {9.30 am onwards}. Here, Krys Lee and Krishna Udaysankar will be taking novice writers through a step-by-step guide on how to write and get your book published.
