Treemendous Vacation

So what does a treehouse-inspired property mean? Well, for starters it’s not a treehouse, but has got elements of one in the way it’s built. And that’s what you get and a bit more at this property in North Goa. Constructed in a very typical old-world style complete with high ceilings, wooden rafters, wood panelling, and a whole lot of wooden furnishings, this two-storied bungalow is for a weekend of lazing {or not} around with your SO.

Now, the lower floor of this property is a mix of lounge and dining space that’s tastefully furnished complete with a diwan for you to lean back and catch up on some reading. The window by the dining area is built around a large branch and that’s the start of the whole treehouse vibes this place has got. Up the staircase, you’ll find yourself at the landing to the entrance to the bedroom. This is where the whole treehouse effect comes into full picture, for you’ll notice that the bedroom is nestled between two large trees. Wooden-panelled walls and floor, the bedroom is quite the nosy nook to retire to if your idea of a weekend getaway in spending the day in bed. Oh, and there’s even a tiny balcony to sit out as well.

Exploring Around

The property has got little nooks for you to explore starting with the alfresco dining area that’s perfect to pop open a couple of King’s and enjoy the evening breeze. Do check out the garden space too — it makes up for a pretty picture for your Instagram feed.

Now, while the property is secluded, you can still catch all the Goa action whilst you are here. Vagator and Anjuna beaches are just under the 5 kilometres, so you could either walk it up or get a cab arranged with the help of the manager at the property. In case you are looking at indulging in some good food, there’s a cute cafe by the name Villa Blanche in Assagao. And if its local cuisine that you are craving for, there are a few local bars and restaurants in and around the 5-kilometre radius that offers thalis and seafood dishes.

Booking The Vacation

If you are okay to splurge a little bit, then this property is perfect as the INR 12,000 price tag might seem a bit too much given that you can basically spend a weekend in Goa at half the price.
