Urban Deccan pub

What Makes It Awesome

UDP is a new place in the prime location!
They have a elaborate fusion menu with mostly south Indian food in new avatar, few really fascinating innovations that blew my mind!

We were a bunch of friends who visited and here's our experience trying the creatively curated menu.

Urban Deccan chips with hummus was a delicious and addicting twist to the usual Nachos, as this one is Malabar paratha presented differently. It was perfectly crispy texture.

Bisibele poppers - yes you heard it right! Indian version of Sicilian aracini which is stuffed rice ball too.
This was bisibele bath mixed with cheese and stuffed inside bread crumbs. Very well made and I liked this version of bisibele bath.

Chettinad paneer tikka pizza - i loved this pizza which was with thin crust and with loads of cheese and the chettinad flavour made it even good.

Arbi podimas- arbi deep fried with Indian spices was again a interestingly delicious starter. A must try for vegetarians.

UDP loaded fries - this was something new again that I tried first time. French fries with sauces and SAMBAR flavoured salsa. You can definitely try this one too.

Fish fry- with right amount of spices well marinated and cooked. I loved this too.

Dosa tacos with kozhi gassi- a mini set dosa topped with chicken is also a innovative way of presenting the set dosa.

Coming to main course:
Potli Biryani - was unlike the usual biryani's with good mint flavours and chicken well cooked. We devoured the biryani for sure.

If you love kori roti then you can have Kori roti with kozhi gassi which is Mangalorean cuisine.

Desserts:
Elaneer payasa pudding- I love tender coconut and so do I loved this pudding thou found it little lesser sweet but yes delicious. (I love my desserts extra sweet)

Ajji's apple crumble rolls with toffee sauce - lovely texture of the roll and filling was also good. It won my heart for sure.

Gulab jamoon tiramisu- this was also delicious with tiramisu and gulab jamoon layered in between.

Coffee brownie- coffee flavoured brownie with ice cream was yum for sure.

Must try- pizzas, Deccan chips with hummus, potli Biryani, arbi podimas, bisibele poppers and all the desserts.

Cocktails and mocktails they have good options to keep you hydrated :)

Service was super quick here.
Definitely recommend this place for your large group parties too.
