Known to dabble in varied sounds and genres, the French band Bo Bun Fever is all set to kickstart your weekend with some jazz and Afro rock. With original scenography, songs and stories on the cards along with their infectious energy and humour, this one makes for an entertaining performance, we think. Adding to the mix will be a DJ set by Unnayanaa aka Prashanth Pallemoni, and guest acts by Mahima Dayal Mathur {from Delhi-based band, Basanti aur Rahza}, and Amrit Rao {from city-based band, Live Banned}.

Stories From My Living Room
Promising you an evening dedicated to poetry and performance, Sandbox Collective's Stories From My Living Room has everything from a recital to open mic sessions to keep you engrossed. We're hoping to catch Aayana Dance Company's performance-based poetry piece which combines music, dance and words. Open Sky Slam's {a platform for artists} prose-like poetry and Airplane Poetry Movement's performance on contemporary issues are other sessions to add to your Friday evening plans.

That's just what Bengaluru Comic Con has in store for you with this gaming bash {although not for the whole day}, organised as part of their upcoming convention in the city. Comedians, Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Vijayakar take over the stage with their new show, 40 Shades of Grey {Hair}, which explores the quirks of how men behave after the age of 40. Blending in stand up, song, dance and interaction with the audience, the show will have Cyrus narrating witty observations while Kunal portrays different characters in fun situations. Bringing handcrafted apparel under one roof, this exhibition by the artisan enterprise, HandsOfIndia is one to bookmark. Working with weavers and hand embroiderers from around the country, there's everything from tops, handprinted skirts, sarees with classic colour combinations and even a selection of Western wear {think dresses and tops} to fill up your shopping bags.
