SimplyFest Bangalore 2016 

All ye budding entrepreneurs, want some handy tips on how to get your startup up the success ladder? Here you go! After its Delhi and Mumbai editions, SimplyFest {an initiative that attempts to educate and inspire young entrepreneurs} is coming to the ooru with a talk session. Focusing on  the topic,  'Managing Growth: Starting Up, Scaling Up’, the event includes talks by Ritesh Banglani {partner at the city-based venture capital fund, Stellaris Venture Partners} and Rishi Khiani {CEO and MD of Ant Farm, a Mumbai-based accelerator}. Bringing traditional drapes from across the country, Red Earth {a Delhi-based independent arts organisation} has a four-day festival for you to bookmark. While The Saree Festival has everything from Paithanis and Kotas to linens, there's even accessories on offer, along with events like a Saree Styling Jam and a theatre performance. If you're the kind who thinks a generous dose of beer, food and music is what you need to celebrate the weekend, head out for this two-day festival. A Classical Promenade

Give the EDM and hip hop a break, and book yourself a spot for this classical concert, organised by Toit Foundation for the Arts and The Bangalore School of Music. Planned as a series of concerts, the first performance by the group explores the art of storytelling through music. Apart from classics by musicians like Gluck and Holst, they also have a selection of background scores from popular Hollywood movies. Think themes from James Bond and Schindler's List.
