If you’re looking to really chill out this weekend, hit up The Humming Tree for their usual dose of great music, crafted cocktails and picnic-style food. As a prequel to their bi-annual Backdoors event happening on Sunday, December 4, they’re inviting guitar genius, Dhruv Viswanath, to serenade you with an eclectic mix of soulful finger-style, percussive tracks, electro-acoustic, and hard rock with jumpy riffs. He’ll be joined by Shubham Roy, who brings with him a wealth of music from Shillong. You can expect folk, classical, and fusion, making it a dynamic musical night out! Don’t worry if you can’t make it, the event will also happen on Saturday, November 26!

German Spotlight – And Then & A Little Calm Before The Storm

The Goethe-Institut has collaborated with The Sandbox Collective and director Vandhana Prabhu to bring some German theatre and culture to Bangalore. The play gives audiences a peek into the ‘behind-the-scenes’ life at the theatre — stars of the show Kanchan Bhattacharya, Roy Sinai and Bhavik Bhandari give us a great opportunity to laugh at the absurdity and pitfalls of the human ego.
