Celebrate Your Weekend With World Music Day At Alliance Francaise de Bangalore

Alliance Francaise de Bangalore is hosting its annual World Music Day event on June 29 and 30. With two whole days of music, expect bands and musicians from a variety of genres like blues, rock, metal, pop, indie pop and folk. A little birdie told us that they're expanding their base this year, and are hosting World Music Day at five other venues including Furtados and Bangalore School of Music (call them up for more information on this). We've been told that these venues will host student ensembles and even an orchestra. On Sunday evening at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore, there will be live art along with the gigs. Inspired by the rhythm and music being played, see art come to life through acrylics and canvas at the main auditorium on their campus.

Alliance Francaise de Bangalore is a French institute that apart from conducting French classes, hosts events and musicals. Their annual World Music Day festival is quite popular.
