It’s served in a charcoal-infused black waffle cone and topped with rainbow sprinkles for some colour And there’s a hint of coconutty flavour too. Want to try? Just make sure to call in advance and ask them if it’s available first.
Also, they currently have a special Star Wars Menu where you can get dishes like Darth Chocolate Spaghetti {chocolate spaghetti topped with white chocolate and goth ice cream} and a black Death Star Pizza with veggie or chicken toppings. May the force be with you for this one!

If goth desserts aren’t your thing, how about a goth burger instead? At Soul Garden Bistro’s newest outlet in Kilpauk, give the dark Madras Burger a try. Made using coconut shell activated charcoal, the south Indian twist is that the patty is made of lentils {namma masala vadai} served with an onion chutney. Yes, it’s vegetarian, so go on, have a bite.

How cool is this? Biryani cooked and served out of an actual bamboo! This slightly smokey dish at Naachiyar Kitchen is called Suttamungil Biryani and is available for INR 210 upwards. You can get it in three versions – kozhi {chicken}, eral {prawn} and kari {meat}. Which one do you want to try?

You know it’s serious business when the dish is named after the restaurant. Or is it vice versa? Instead of scooping out chunks of chicken from a rotisserie, it’s chocolate layers here, so dessert lovers, rejoice! Get shavings of dark chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate onto your plate. They’ve also got a Nutella Oreo Burger — Nutella and Oreo crumbs between two buns. Weird or cool?
