Yes! Ciclo Cafe has made its pizza offerings all the more interesting (and oh! so tempting). Running a special menu as part of its World Pizza Fest, you can now gorge on pizzas carrying Arabian, Indonesian, Spanish and Korean flavours among others (eight different pizza options to be precise) at this Kotturpuram cafe. Excited (as always), we headed there for lunch and got ourselves a seat at one of their more fancy/vintage looking booths with jewel-toned couches and dived right into choosing our pizzas. Their Chicago Deep Dish pizza is what caught our attention first and we immediately decided to order this one. A proper pizza pie, this had everything we had imagined deep dish pizzas to have - a crispy crust, oozing mozzarella and really tender chicken pieces (as put by my lunch mate). This was followed by a German Pizza Flammkuchen which had a delish spicy tomato sauce base and came topped with ricotta, caramelized onions and mushrooms - simply too good! Keen on keeping it diverse just like this fest's menu, we decided to order to their Sicilian Sfinicione Pizza and their Korean Bulgogi pizza next. Baked to perfection, the Sicilian pizza was more mellow in flavour but a treat nonetheless with the combination of fresh ricotta and spinach going really well together. As for the Korean pizza - it was a nice mix of sweet and spicy notes with the chicken standing out again. While this was our selection, Ciclo's World Pizza Fest menu also has Arabian Sfiha Pizza Pie (an open-faced pie), Spanish Catalan Coca, Neapolitan Pizza Frittata and the Indonesian Pizza Balado on offer. And the fact that you can customise all of these pizzas to be either vegetarian or non-vegetarian makes us love this menu all the more. But this is available only till February 17, so don't wait up! Skip your dabba for once and head there for a meal ASAP.
