What Makes It Awesome

Tucked inside the green lanes of Harrington Road, Farm Shop is a tiny basement store offering some really cool organic merch. We’re talking about stone mugs, handmade chappals, African themed clay dolls here. Sourced from across India, these are certainly a rare find and are available in limited quantities here.

We particularly liked the stone pots that are black in colour and have been sourced from Manipur. Priced at about INR 750, these are slightly heavy but are perfect for cooking curries and dals. Farm Shop also has kitchenware in black and red clay that includes jugs, pots, water bottles and handis. Starting from about INR 200 these are available in varying sizes.

The accessories here are also quite interesting. Comprising small jute bags, slings and unisex footwears made of palm tree leaves, these are perfect if you love earthy stuff. The handmade baskets made with Himalayan grass particularly won us over with their raw appeal. Available in maroon and natural brown colour, these start from INR 500 and are available in three sizes.

As for the grocery products at Farm Shop, these include millets, dals, coconut, neem and gingelly oil, flax seeds and multiple varieties of rice, starting from INR 40. They also have spices such as black pepper, cumin, and ready-to-eat rusks and biscuits. We also liked their eco products that include handmade citric soaps, mosquito repellents, toilet, and dish cleaners and are apparently very effective. Starting from just INR 150, these get sold out really fast, so be sure to hoard on them if you choose to buy some.
