Regionally known as Konni Aana Koodu, this is a training centre for elephants, especially the calves who are found lost in the forest, separated from their herds or spotted hurt and abandoned. This place is located around 15 kilometres from Thumpamon and attracts tourists in large numbers. These elephants are trained to obey simple commands which can be witnessed live by the tourists. Please pay a visit, but make sure you don't end up disturbing the already vulnerable elephants here.
