What Makes It Awesome

Started in 2013, the café at Harley and Me, a pet-boarding facility in Panaiyur, gives the word pet-friendly a new meaning. The café has a separate menu for dogs, filled entirely with treats and dishes that dogs love. Their fave doggie choices are the honey chicken, lamb gravy, boneless chicken lollipop, and chicken french fries. Before you ask, yes all their dishes for pets are pet-friendly as they do not use chocolate, sugar, and salt. They make birthday cakes for dogs too.

The fun doesn’t stop there for your doggos. There’s a spa for them to be groomed and pampered at, a pool for them to swim and splash around in and loads of other doggies to play with. The 14,000 sq. ft. property has a 4000 sq. ft. house in the middle and a massive lawn for the dogs to run around in. There’s also a pet shop that stocks pet food, and a few basic accessories like chew toys and leashes.

In addition to being a pet café, Harley and Me offers a kennel service and is equipped to care for dogs of all sizes and is equipped to house a maximum of 35 dogs. Exact rates vary on the size of the dog and duration of stay. Compared to other pet boarding facilities in the city, Harley and Me is a little premium, but we think it’s worth it.

Two-legged visitors have their own menu, with the usual spread of café fare like milkshakes, sandwiches, french fries, etc. Seating at the café is on the lawn which is great because you get to watch the dogs play. Bringing experiences like that together is what Harley and Me are trying to do – creating a hub for pets and pet lovers. They’re also coming up with a yearly and even lifetime membership for pets, where pets can have unlimited access through the week to the pool and play area and you can treat them to spa and grooming services at discounted prices. Woof. Woof. We like.
