We want to make it clear that when we say coffee, we don’t mean just any coffee, we mean filter coffee. What’s the difference? Everything. It’s straight-up better than instant coffee powder. Coffee in hand, you’re now set to read the goings-on in our city, from India’s most iconic newspaper, The Hindu. Started more than a 100 years ago, this day is about as much a part of our tradition as every Chennaiite’s mom playing M S Subbulakshmi’s rendition of the Suprabhatam every morning (Google the reference if you don’t get it).
