The Butterfly Effect Cafe

While the plush blue seating and marble tabletops add an air of chicness to this cafe in Nandanam, the menu is a mix of all the must-haves at a cafe - Sandwiches, pasta, soups, salads, and of course, coffee. The brainchild of architect Junaid Ahmed, folks, you will be happy to know that the menu here has been curated by none other than Chef Willi and sits right above Ahmed's furniture store. While there are plenty of options to choose from, their coconut soup, pizza, and basque cheesecake come highly recommended. Not to forget, their curried apple sandwich (if you're open to experimenting)

Remember Nolita? Well, there's a new eatery that has set shop in its place and it's basically pasta wonderland. Tossing up handcrafted pasta in creamy Bechamel or spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs and even the likes of shrimp tortellini and perfectly cooked gnocchi - we hear this place is a must-try for every pasta lover. There are appetizers and dessert like tiramisu and pannacotta too to help you perfectly end a hearty Italian meal!

Manjal

Another South Indian eatery? Good, but what's new? It's more the vibe of the place. Set in Alwarpet, Manjal reminds you of those restaurants you find attached to a scenic, quaint resort. The setting is pretty with minimalistic wooden tables and chairs, and the menu - everything you wish to find in an authnentic South Indian kitchen right from idly and vada curry to aattu kaal paya, mutton salna, chicken salna, brain fry, biryani, muttai dosai, and more. Ooh, they have a set breakfast menu too (served between 7:00 am and 10:30 am) with the vegetarian fare priced at INR 450 and non-vegetarian at INR 575.
