Hamsa Utsav

What's Happening

With the festive season upon us, Hamsa in Adyar is making fasting tad easier with its delectable range of vegetarian, satvik food, specially curated by Chef Rakesh Raghunathan. Available till October 29,  you would get to try recipes adapted mainly from Maharashtra, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gujarat, all made with no grains, onion and garlic. The idea is to give people a taste of a seasonal celebration menu by using age-old traditional recipes during the festive time.

The dishes include Sabudana Moongphali Thalipeeth (sago & peanut pancakes), Shakarkandi Tuk Chaat (spiced and deep-fried sweet potatoes), Annanas Ki Subzi (pineapple curry), Vrat Ka Pulao (millet pulao with spices), Kuttu Aloo Paratha, Sitaphal basundi and more. A whole menu comprising starters, chutneys, curries, breads and of course, dessert. Quite a spread, eh?
