What Makes It Awesome

With her sewing machine, Melanie stitches up adorable bags you can use (or keep starting at). For over four years, she’s been making fabric slings, pouches, and wallets secretly in her room, and we’re so glad we discovered these.

She sources Indian fabrics such as Ikkat with batik printing and block prints locally. Then, she designs the bags and stitches them - everything is handmade. We like orange drawstring bag with owl prints and the violent elephant pouch. In addition to bags, she stitches fabric planters to keep your plants in and fabric covers and sleeves for notebooks.

The bright, pyramid-themed sleeve with a coconut shell button was customised for a kindle. The batik planters jazz up your plants and are eco-friendly. She customises the bags and planters, but can you come up with something cuter than these designs? Her merch is priced from INR 350.
