10 Things to Look Forward to at Dessert Bazaar

The information in this post might be outdated

Desert Bazaar is right around the corner, and we're super excited about the many sweet somethings we have lined up for you. Come with all thoughts of diets banished, with your spoons at the ready, and sample all the dessert you can!

I {scream} Taco

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve been fascinated with, and also tried nitrogen {instant} ice-cream. We’re on that bandwagon too so we’re bringing Azote to our third Dessert Bazaar so you can watch the magic happen once again. There’s an ice-cream eating competition and flavours such as Berry Blast, Cold Monk and Chocolate Sin on the agenda, but the most exciting addition? Ice-cream tacos!

 The kids will be alright

For all you mummies with children that enjoy an activity or two, Events by Ideation have created a kids area with plenty to keep the young ones occupied. You can expect caricatures being sketched, temporary tattoos being inked and the biggest attraction of all- a ball pool! Let 'em loose.

Special home baker treats

With names such as Deepali Modi and Whipped on the line-up, you already know it’s going to be top-notch, but what we’re telling you is that a few of the bakers are doing Dessert Bazaar specials that you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

Bake My Day has ice cream sandwiches and eggless offerings lined up, as does Hashtag Cakes and Deepali Modi is bringing granola and her to-die-for cake pops {always a classic}. Sugar Threads will bring their gourmet cotton candy and we also have Cakeaway, the brainchild of Piano Man Arjun Sagar Gupta and believe us, this is all the tip of the iceberg.

Stray from the sweet

When you’re ready for the downer, you’ll need the savoury goods. Indigo comes to your rescue, with Indian, European and continental food- you’ll be able to get whatever you’re in the mood for.

Barrels of beverages

We’ve already told you about Bonhomia’s stellar cocktails. Quick recap: They have Espresso Martinis, Green Tea mojitos, and concoctions such as Cafe Tiramisu up on offer, with plenty more promised.

We also have Anandini bringing one-of-a-kind iced teas, while The Good Juicery promises ice-sparkling goodness of all sorts. You’ll need to hydrate in the face of all those sweets, you know.

Say Bonjour to waffles

Bonjour Chocolates is all set to give you waffles abound at their special waffle station. With plenty of variants up their sleeve, this one is for the breakfast food lovers. Make a beeline for them.

Flash your app

There’s a special treat for everyone who comes with the LBB app on their phone. Just flash it at the registration desk and you could get INR 50 off at any vendor stall of your choice. If you still don’t have the app, we’re thinking you might want to get on that bandwagon.

Download the app here {both Android and iOS}.

Nourish yourself right

In the spirit of waking up sans sugar hangover the next day, head to Nourish Organic for a healthy {albeit flavoursome} fix. They have honey walnuts to look forward to, among other snacks. This is great spot for all the mums in the house to pick up treats for their children.

Documenting your dessert

You know that you’re not actually there unless you Instagram it and we know it too, so you can expect a corner dedicated to your selfies. Pose with your sweets, make jokes about how your pants need to be loosened, get as creative as possible! Don’t forget #DessertBazaar3!

An apple a day & walnuts for your brain

We all know it takes a little effort to eat healthy, but you don't need to deprive yourself of dessert—California Apples and Walnut Board are getting together with the bakers to make it so! Expect a whole range of baked goods {from bakers such as Georgia Dakota and The Bombaykery} that feature the apples and walnuts as key ingredients.

This is what we call indulging guilt-free.
