What Is It?

Starting Nov 19, you have a chance to discover the city on foot by choosing from more than 200 walks all the way up till Dec 4. Based on what side of Delhi interests you, there are specially curated walks around heritage, architecture, food, nature, art, music, photography and more.

Who Is It For?

It’s definitely for someone who enjoys secret history tidbits or is into performances {there are quite a few planned in the city’s happening pockets}. Plus, there's always that fun opportunity to hang with the gang while also striking random conversation with total {but awesome} fellow walkers.

You don’t need a superhuman stamina for these walks. As long as you’re mildly fit and unbeatable in spirit, you’ll have a good time.

Why Should I Go For It?

There’s really no better way to explore a city’s hidden gems than by taking to its narrowest bylanes; that’s where all the good kebabs are, no?

Also, you’ll be following people who are experts in the field and have access to information that you’ll find only after spending hours in the library. It's a chosen bunch of 50 bright ecologists, historians, foodies, artists, musicians and others will lead the many walking tours. Now that'll be exciting and enriching.

We’re overwhelmed by the sheer variety of experiences on offer. See the city through the eyes of the street children, relive the stories from India’s first war of independence, pick Lodhi Garden fruits for a meal at Khan market, eat Bengali fare non-stop at CR Park, sign up for a pub crawl, find the Djinns of Ferozabad, listen to Sufi music at Nizamuddin basti or find something that calls out to you.

Anything Else?
