The third edition of Celebrate Life Season 3 – The Lavender Ribbon Fiest {a fundraiser} hopes to create awareness about cancer, through the medium of art and fashion.

We came across some Instagram handles of some inspirational survivors who definitely warrant a follow.

After winning the 2011 World Cup for India and being named the Player of the Tournament, Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with lung cancer {stage 1}. And despite the highly stressful and traumatic experience, Yuvraj, with his determination and skills, made a successful return to the field in April 2012.

In 2001, Mark Ruffalo had a vivid dream that he had a brain tumour and it bothered him so much, he decided to go see a doctor. As it turned out, he did have a brain tumour and started treatment immediately. The entire experience changed his outlook towards life. His Instagram account is a mix of his personal and professional life.

Without doubt, a story of dedication and will power, his Instagram feed is filled with inspirational quotes, cycling trails and the occasional family selfie {which we personally love}.

Lisa Ray battled multiple myeloma in the year 2009 and was declared a survivor in July 2009. Currently she is back to her passion of acting and modeling, which makes her a true inspiration for everyone. A beacon of positivity.
