The Panna Bharat Ram Theatre festival is showcasing eight plays this winter. The plays are put up by various performing arts groups and cover a wide range of genres from Macbeth to the Revised Karma Sutra. From Girish Karnad to Mahasweta Devi; from Premchand to Mollier, this festival will give you a taste of the best.
We are most looking forward to the Mahabharata of Women. This is being put up by the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts. In this play, three contemporary characters interact with Draupadi, Kunti and the other women of Mahabharata, to perceive their pain and hardships.
