Raise your hand if you have read 5,23,782 articles about how to pick your perfect bridal outfit {Come on, I know you have}!

At this point I know my dream designers for every wedding event- from the mehendi, to the sangeet, the cocktail and pheras. What I find funny though is that we spend, weeks, even months obsessing over outfits we will wear for just 2 days of our life, and almost no time thinking about the outfits we will actually live our lives in – our trousseau.

Though trousseaus are made up of western clothes, bags and shoes as well, I am going to focus on brands fresh off the block who design the best festive wear; outfits that you will wear for future weddings, poojas, karva chauth, Diwali and more. Here are my favourites:

Amaaya By Pooja Ahuja

Though she is better known for her lehengas with delicate threadwork, I personally love her jumpsuits, dhoti pants, and palazzo sets which all come in flattering colors and interesting cuts.

You can check out more of her work here.

Astha Narang

Astha Narang’s sparkly, feminine lehngas and anarkalis are perfect for your first Diwali or for a family member’s wedding. Lately, I am loving the soft, luxurious look of her blouses.

Girly with an edge- Shehlaa Khan’s designs are beautiful tulle, sequined, embroidered pieces with a dash of skin here, or an unexpected cut there, that make you look beautiful. Though her outfits are a little on the expensive side, her dreamy tiered lehengas are perfect to mix and match.
