Description
This workshop is meant for aspiring audio engineers and music artists as well. The workshop will take you through a hands on experience of recording a singer-songwriter and mixing down the recorded song. Participants will learn about studio room acoustics, correct microphone technique, recording on a DAW with correct gain staging and settings and general tips regarding running a tracking session. The mix down will show you how to use various aspects of mixing such as fader balance, imaging, equalization, dynamic processing and effect processing to achieve a satisfactory mix with the correct technical specifications. Session will end with a Q&A session between the presenter and the participants.

Kishore Banan was the head of academics at the School of Audio Engineering, Mumbai. He has trained students of Sound Engineering for over 12 years and is currently a freelance sound engineer and an educator.
