Come and explore how a great water reservoir was commissioned by Alauddin Khilji at the start of 14th century to cater the needs of his city of Siri which soon after his death fell into disuse and encroached upon. On this trail walk with us to understand that why half a century later Feroz shah Tughlaq refurbished the entire reservoir and chose Hauz khas to be the site of biggest Islamic seminary and his own burial. We will understand that what was curriculum and student life at this seminary? How hauz khas was anti-thesis to prevalent Madarsa Architecture of those times. Explore the intriguing presence of Stone railings around the final resting place of Sultan Feroz shah Tughlaq.
