I recently moved into an apartment; and had a blast discovering awesome, new local home-decor brands on LBB and a couple of other places. Adding all my recommendations here for folks looking to switch things up at home and/or for those moving into a new place. While I love a good bargain, convenience trumps everything for me. All of the following brands deliver to your doorstep. Happy shopping!

The Lohasmith

For all things metal! Their mirrors and tables – all available on their website – are gorgeous. I also got a custom coffee table made from them {pictured in the living room}, and also recommended it earlier on LBB. Check ’em out here.

N Square Studio

This Hyderabad based company is boss! Love them for their cocktail chairs, rolling-bar {pictured}, and metal baskets. They are all available online here.

While I don’t particularly swear by their quality, they’re a super affordable bet for beds and couches. I bought my blue couch from them but swapped the back cushions with multi-pattern ones. You can find them here.

Gamthi

Most definitely my favourite LBB discovery of all time, Gamthi is the rare offline store in this list. This fabric haven is a must-go-to for cool ikats, beautiful silks, and dog-hair friendly fabrics. Most of the cushions for my house were made from fabric bought from Gamthi.

Excellent for ceramics. Also found on LBB, I love their teal flower bowls and ombre cups and pasta bowls. Head over to their website here: or Jaypore to check it out.

Sarita Handa

For fabrics as beautiful as art. I got a really cool morrocan, woven fabric which I’ve framed and put above my bed. You can check out their gorgeous collection here.

Studio Wood

The brown couch in my living room is from there. Great quality, value for money; they also customise orders. You can find them here.

Safomasi

I absolutely love Safomasi! I got the cane bean bag, the standing lamp with the evil eye print, and the oriental throw {on the brown couch} from them. They’re not the most budget-friendly but have the coolest prints and weaves I’ve seen.

Rugs

Check out The Rug Republic for affordable rugs. The beige rug in my living room is from there. Their options are decent – you can find everything online. Though it’s better to make a trip to their store in Chattarpur to triple check the quality. For great quality rugs, head over to Yak Carpet {bought a beautiful indigo rug from here} Jaipur Rugs or Carpet Cellar {last one- if you’re looking to splurge. We received a beautiful Afghan kilim carpet cellar rug}. Cheapest of em all – Dilli Haat. The Chevron rug {pictured} is from there.

Art

I love Sudeepti Tucker’s prints {pictured}, photographs I’ve been gifted or collected, and regional art. Sudeepti can be found on Instagram here.

Home accessories

Check out Nappa Dori, Good Earth, Nicobar, and Colllab, Project.Co for plants and planters, and Neerja Pottery for Jaipur pottery planters.

Lights

Lok Nayak Bhavan is bae. Ankur Lighting is my favourite. I also love Safomasi’s standing lamp. Bought the backlit that says ‘Oli & Bels’
