It was my mom’s birthday and I was looking for a place where I could take her and be certain that she loves it! It couldn’t get any better than celebrating my mother’s birthday at this aptly named place- Mother India Restaurant!
There are some places which you enter and fall in love with, instantly! Mother India is one such place. From the beautiful welcoming and classic interior to the lovely soothing music which made the ambience just perfect for spending quality time with family, it had a really calming ambience and a very unique charm to it, unlike other restaurants, with interiors reminding you of all iconic things from the history of Bollywood from the ’70-’80s. Every corner has got some creative detailing done and I bet you can’t take your eyes off the beautiful decor!
Now, that we have established the fact that the decor is excellent, let’s come to praising the menu, which will definitely amaze you with every possible dish from all over India.:-D Yes, all traditional dishes ranging from East to West, North to South, it covers it all! Deciding on what to order, it left us confused but then finally, we ordered Hyderabadi Ghosht Biryani, tandoori chicken and certain mocktails! Needless to say, We loved the food!
Tandoori Chicken was nicely done with proper marination. Hyderabadi Ghosht biryani was on point, with an aroma of the various spices. Overall we had a sumptuous meal!
This place is perfect for family get-togethers, for the quality of food and the service is par excellence! And of course the ambience is what matters, and that’s where they shine! I am all gaga over this place, I highly recommend this spot to all those seeking to go on a trip down memory lane!
