Shiv Khori is at a distance of 140km from Jammu and 70km from Katra {Vaishno Devi}. It is a holy cave abode of Lord Shiva and an absolute wonder. Those who didn't get the chance to see the Ardhkuwari cave at Vaishno Devi can fulfil their wish by visiting Shiv Khori. This cave measures nearly half a kilometre in length and at first, it looks like this is impossible to cross this cave. You have to crawl inside the cave to reach the destination that is a naturally formed Shiv-lingam. One might be scared after reading this but a simpler way is now open for the visitors to reach the main temple without crossing the cave.
Except for the cave, the trekking way is tremendously breathtaking too. With a river flowing at the side of the trekking way and one way surrounded by mountains, one can get lost admiring the landscapes.
Make sure you do not have bags or handy stuff with you as there are a lot of monkeys up there.
