Abbu’s Biryani in Rajouri Garden is taking Delhi’s food scene by storm with their hearty biryani, kebabs and wraps. The food is reasonable and would make for a delightful meal post shopping.

Biryani Therapy

Biryani is food for the soul, people. You know it. We know it. Folks over at Abbu’s Biryani definitely know it. The succulent chicken, the flawlessly sour dahi, and the most importantly, the aroma—Biryani’s not a matter of taste, it’s a matter of Dilli’s heart.

A simple joint with red and orange plastic chairs, located in the heart of West Delhi, under the rumbling tracks of Rajouri Garden metro station, Abbu’s Biryani has got us topping up our metro cards for multiple biryani treats. They’ve got Chicken Tikka and Mutton Seekh biryani for the meat-heads and an option between Paneer, Soya, and Mushroom Tikka biryani if you’re going through a religious retreat. They have these in mini, regular, and jumbo sizes {and let’s not kid ourselves, we know which one we’re going for}. You can expect to get a punch of spices, abundant chunks of chicken {or paneer, mutton etc}.

Abbu’s also has kebabs and wraps on the menu, both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants, and while we didn’t get to try those, we hear they’ll knock your socks off. For a kicker, they’ve got a thin crust kebab pizza in Chicken Tikka and Paneer Tikka alternatives which we can’t wait to stuff our faces with. The Shahi Tukda will make for the sweetest salvation when the dessert craving hits.

So, We’re Saying…

You owe it to your taste buds and your tummy to head to Delhi’s latest biryani hub and wolf down some of the best biryani we’ve tried in a long time. The place is easily accessible and reasonably priced, so there’s no point thinking it over, just run over there!
