While you won’t find a bridal outfit here, your shaadi season wardrobe could definitely use her label’s sequined cocktail dresses and indo-western outfits that don’t OD on bling. We particularly like the Anarkali Dress {INR 9,000} that looks great, is flow-y & not heavy, so you can dance to your heart’s content minus all the hassles that a lehnga comes with.
For Men: Absoluto is another great store for men in this price range. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to experiment with cuts and colours, you’ll find plenty of kurtas with nehru jackets {like the one we found for INR 11,000} and suits in neutral colours and simple styles. They have an impressive range of juttis and formal shoes too that you could pair up with your shaadi outfit, because why not?

For Women: Qubik does saris with quirky patterns, so if bold colours or zebra prints are your thing, you’ll love this store. They also do a lot of funky blouses {collared, neck piece attached blouses and more} and fusion outfits like a sari+gown dress with drapes of a sari and a belt {like the Golden Ripped Dress we found for INR 24,000}.
For Men: Mint Blush is a store that stocks clothes for both men and women. You’ll see that their collection comprises of outfits with funky cuts and colours {think teals, dull purples, bright blues} but you’ll also find a lot of drape kurtas and jackets for men in earthy tones. This label is a great option for smaller functions like mehndi and sangeet. One of the reasons why we like Mint Blush is because their fitting is excellent, so even if you want to get your outfit made from scratch, you know where to head.

For Women: If you have a good budget to run with, Monika.Nidhi will definitely have to be one of our top picks. Their latest bridal collection with colourful embroidery work on off white and white lehngas is probably every bride-to-be’s dream come true. Another reason why this label wins our vote is that one can find multiple colours of the same designer outfit and aren’t more colours always a plus? We’ve had our eyes set upon the one shoulder cape with dhoti {INR 35,000} that was also available in maroon, sky blue and more colours.
For Men: One of the most high-end stores in Shahpur Jat, Unit By Rajat Suri offers apparel only for men but it’s a one-stop shop for all of men’s shaadi shopping needs. They’ve got everything from ties, cuff links, juttis and formal shoes to dhoti pants, kurtas and suits. The formal suit & bow tie that will set you back by INR 40,000 was one of our favourites. Unit also has an impressive range of bow ties in numerous patterns like polka dots, checks, stripes and prints too.
