Aerial Silk Showcase at Delhi Rock This Weekend

What is It?

Aerial silks is an exciting type of performing art in which one or more artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric, relying only on their training and skills to ensure safety.

Taught in Delhi’s climbing gym, Delhi Rock by Dasha, the class of 2016 is ready to showcase its skills at the silks after a year of hard work and sweat.

Who is It for?

Those who enjoy watching any kind of performing arts. Aerial silks is based on circus arts and is bound to keep you at the edge of your seat. Kids particularly enjoy this kind of show.  

Why Should I Go for It?

To find the inspiration to try new things or a new fitness regimen, which is difficult and skill-oriented. You’ll also be celebrating what this community of aerialists has accomplished by attending this spectacular performance.

The performers use fabric to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions. Aerial silks may be used to fly through the air, striking poses and figures while flying. You don’t want to miss this enthralling performance!
