What’s that universal phrase that one resorts to saying when they’re blown away.. oh right “BLOWN AWAY”... that was my exact sentiment on my latest visit to farzi cafe. Well, you can’t go wrong with a fun group of friends, some hard hitting beverages and lots of insane food, innit?
Turns out that farzi cafe has just introduced a brand new food menu which is not just good, but it’s got stuff that you’ve not heard of before. Let me illustrate by throwing a few names, like us Dally (Delhi) folks do, chicken dhokla, mutton ghotala, bhindi gosht.. I for one had no idea that these kind of things existed, not just the name, but the food in itself. Let’s just say out of the many things I had. These were my top 3. That being said, I don’t hint on the other things not being at par, they too were insane, but to each his own palette, I guess.
Oh yes, let me not get started on the beverages i walked out of farzi cafe wanting more... but there’s only so much a human can take...
To sum it all up. Let’s just simply put it this way... for all you meat lovers; the mutton ghotala, the chicken dhokha, and there’s a fusion drums of heaven kinda stuff which comes on a sizzling stone platter with a cheesy dip kinda thing all over & around it (just ask them what it’s called); are must haves.. and for those that fancy something shakahari; you can’t go wrong with the avocado chaat (Forgive my limited recommendation on the vegetarian front). But yeh, overall, you truly can’t go wrong with the new menu, kudos to the chef.
