There's something about fashion week. The heady mixture of clothing and accessories on gorgeous models, everyone dressed to the nines, and ultimately, the display and celebration of art. This year presents an exciting turn of events, with the Fashion Design Council of India partnering with Amazon to bring to the fore talented, visionary designers.
Rajesh Pratap Singh opens the five day affair, which is to be held at Pragati Maidan. We also have names like Hemant & Nandita, Pero, and JJ Valaya presenting their Autumn/ Winter collections, and we're waiting with bated breath to see what they unveil. Now titled Amazon Fashion Week, the shows promise to live up to every expectation in the house.
Besides the shows, there will be stalls for your perusal, a fleet of photographers, and you know the who's who of the fashion industry will be making appearances.
