Done With Heels? This Brand Has Got Comfy Juttis You'll Want To Wear Every Day

What Makes It Awesome

Artisan Juttis by Vikram Uberoi is a brand that does stunning embroidered, leather-carved and indigo juttis. Unlike other jutti brands, these have a well-defined right and left pair (did you know juttis don't have a left and right pair initially but they take the shape only once you've worn them?!). What this means is that a pair is very meticulously designed for the specific foot and will ensure utmost comfort.

We're used to wearing flimsy juttis that fall apart within a few months' wear and tear, but this brand's are the kind that are sturdy and will last for quite some time. The inside of every Artisan Juttis' pair is lined with the best quality sheep nappa and has a reasonably thick cushioning at the bottom.

Coming to the variety they offer, Artisan Juttis stocks three collections at the moment - the hand-embroidered juttis perfect for wedding functions, the leather-carved ones meant for dailywear and for those obsessed with block-print indigo patterns, they've got an indigo collection too.

Artisan Juttis' cream embroidered pair is one of our favourites. It's not OTT and is great for weddings when you know you're going to be dancing your heart out and wouldn't want to end up with a nasty shoe bite (or carrying your heels in your hand the entire time). Also, do check out the indigo pair with flowers that'll look super elegant with white khadi anarkalis or tunics.

What Could Be Better

We felt that the prices are a bit on the higher side (like INR 4K+ for a leather-carved pair). But considering that Artisan Juttis' quality is impeccable and that they're more comfortable that traditional juttis, saving up for these may be worth the money.

Pro Tip

Vikram wants to ensure that every customer gets the most comfortable pair of juttis they've ever worn, which is why, he's more than happy to customise a pair for you to a T.

So, don't be afraid to share all your concerns with him via email or on call before placing an order. A customised pair will cost extra, of course.
