“Ghee roasted mutton or chicken” just a name is enough in winters to crave for it. So this time to satitate our craving we went to the bylanes of Sadar Bazar. After the screeching noises and the busy streets we finally reached this place only to get little disappointed to know that mutton is only served twice a week that’s only on Wednesday and Saturday but the love of food only can never let you disappointed for long. So we finally ordered the chicken and biryani.
The first bite into the mouth and the blast of flavours we had was enough for us to forget about mutton and thinking that we made the right choice by stopping by. Chicken had beautiful flavours and the curry was exquisite. The ghee uplifted the flavours and there was balance with all the spices used. They serve unlimited chapati with it. Biryani was nice not too great but yeah had good flavours.
A serving of chicken with 2 PC cost Rs.300, it’s pricy but worth it after all it’s cooled in ghee..
also if you ever want to try their mutton visit them on Wednesday and Saturday and book it in advance as they open by 11 in the morning and mutton just get over by 12. Either call and book your serving or reach in time. This place does not provide any seating, you’ll have to stand and eat. People with too much of hygiene issues this place is not for you.
