Ardee mall, for the longest time, looked like a haunted mansion, and today it houses one of the best Pan Asian joints in town. SOY SOI, In all honesty, I fell in love with the place the moment I walked through the door. Grandeur is the word I would use to describe the place, and I’m sure everyone that walks in through the door would be impressed instantly. Beautifully put together and very welcoming.
Now coming to my personal preference of cuisines. I am not the biggest fan of Asian food and being a complete cynic when it comes to Asian cuisine, I was blown away with the food that was served.
1. A platter of assorted Sushi
2. Prawn Dumplings
3. Crispy Friend Garlic Prawns
And to top it all, Pork Belly Bao.
Oh and the cocktails. Most cocktails served here are tailored to this place and you might not find it on the menu of any other place in the city. I started with Soi Mule (which is their take on Moscow Mule), it was pretty impressive, however, old habits die hard and I resorted to the good old, old fashioned.
Overall, the experience is lovely and well if you’re a sucker for Asian food, this place is going to blow your mind.
