Jamun is hosting an authentic Kerala brunch this Sunday. From spicy coconut-based fish and shrimp curries to the sweet milk-based Payasam, if you enjoy food from this region, get ready to be hit by a whirlwind of flavours. There will be familiar sounding names like Puttu, Vellayappam and Pollichatu, filled with unique flavours straight from the hinterlands.
The menu includes Nadan Kozhi, egg stew, beef roast, mutton curry, Kappa Meen curry, fish biryani and, for vegetarians, there's sambhar, Pumpkin Erissery, Kadala curry, pineapple and mango pachadi and more. A part of the money earned will be contributed to Kerala’s flood relief measures.
