Musical Musings

Much like the name suggests, Bandstand’s top-most priority is to put music on a pedestal. They aim to be Delhi’s newest gig hub and promise lots and lots of live music. This, paired with a classy space infused with graffiti, sounds like the makings for quite a heady evening. Speaking of heady…

Grub Talk

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Bandstand and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, which has been put together by the guys of Flipside Cafe and Barsoom {former happening cafes at HKV}. Start with the Wild Mushroom Arancini, the Apricot Chicken Wings {though, we didn’t taste much apricot} and the Zucchini Parmesan Crisps.

For mains, look no further than the Roast Chicken, which is cooked to perfection and served with a delish gravy, mashed potatoes and a creamy whiskey sauce for that extra kick. If you’re looking for a healthier alternative, the Quinoa Bowl {comprising beetroot bits, pumpkin skin, eggplant, sauteed mushrooms and tofu} is a good option. Bandstand also has a pretty large variety of fresh juices and smoothies to keep you going.

While we think Bandstand is a great venue for an evening of live music, it’s equally charming for a lunch outing, due to its happy interiors and dose of sunshine.

#LBBTip

The hummus here is pretty great so you may want to indulge in some pita and beetroot with your drinks.
