Barista Gets a Spanking New Makeover and Menu

The information in this post might be outdated

If you’ve grabbed a cup of coffee at any of the Barista outlets recently, you’ve bound to have noticed that things are not quite as they used to be. The predominantly orange space has been replaced by a sharper, sleeker design, courtesy French consulting company Landor. Expect pristine white, played off, of course, by the trademark orange.

Where a lot of us were losing faith in Barista’s coffee, we’re happy to tell you that their new menu has little scope for disappointment. The coffee range remains more or less the same, but we hear that your cuppa is now stronger and more flavoursome.

The food menu comprises a large variety of light bites, starting from a Continental croissant breakfast, to sandwiches {paneer tikka, smoked chicken etc}, porridge {Quaker Oats}, puffs, pastas, and of course an array of desserts including muffins {blueberry, banana walnut, almond etc}, brownies, cookies and frosted cakes.

Barista’s also got a collection of merch, including cookies, funky coffee makers {2 cup capacity}, ice cream, and even business card holders.

We’re quite kicked about indulging in some good ol’ caffeine at what used to be our favourite cafe, from when the city didn’t have one at every turn. Here’s to hoping Barista’s made its comeback.
