They encourage nature preservation with their guests by small steps taken in and around their property to take good care of Mama Earth. Located on top of a mountain overlooking the Bhimtal Lake, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the lake from the comfort of your rooms. Magpie Retreat offers five uniquely themed rooms named after the most frequently seen birds on the property, so bird enthusiasts, take note! Add to that warm, home cooked meals, by their in-house chef, and it’s really a paradise! They are super eco friendly, as their raw materials are locally sourced sans wasteful packaging and they have a zero plastic policy, to care for Mother Nature. Their zeal for being in sync with nature has led them to start a mountain based initiative by the name of Himalayan Origins India, which comprises of Himalayan handcrafted zero waste organic products. These organic skincare and haircare products are also retailed at the property and will also be soon available online.
