Big Yellow Door (Dwarka, Sec-9)

What Makes It Awesome

Looking for an affordable cafe with quality food and great ambience, which is located in Dwarka, Delhi? Earlier it seemed to be a very difficult question to answer since Dwarka seemed to be situated at the end of everything, far from every place in Delhi and to indulge in a quality experience one had to travel for hours away from Dwarka, but not anymore since the Big yellow Door is here at Dwarka sector 9!
Big Yellow Door is one of the most popular amongst the students, a very famous branch of Big Yellow Door is located at Satya Niketan opposite to Sri Venkateshwara College. However the ambience they attempted to create here at Sector 9 Dwarka, definitely beats the famous branch in Satya Niketan and the perfect playlist they play just adds to the ambience even more. This outlet has an outdoor as well as indoor seating and pretty quick service. We give an overall rating of 3.5/5 stars to this place.

We ordered:

1. Plain Chicken and Lettuce Sandwich
Plain boiled chicken and lettuce put together with mayonnaise, this one was a blast of freshness and flavour. Priced rs. 99, this one was totally a worth-it deal. A single sandwich is cut into four pieces and served with chips in a big basket. We rate this item a 3.5/5 stars.

2. BYD Chilli Bomb Pizza
To be honest, the size of the pizza is slightly disappointing, it is a 7-8 inch pizza priced rs. 209, whereas in most of the cafes the pizzas worth that much price has a good 11-inch size. The flavours were basic and nothing extraordinary. Yes, it did have chilli and the cheese, but the bomb element was missing. Pizza gets a 2 /5 stars

3. Cupid’s Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
This one is worth all the penny you pay for it. It has a thick consistency and a balanced amount of sugar and chocolate. This one is a must-try if you too are super chocoholics as we are. We rate the hot Chocolate a good 4 / 5 stars.

4. Salted Caramel Mocha
The name has it all. All the good things put together, Caramel, chocolate, coffee and a smoothe consistency. Unfortunately, this beverage  not land up to our expectations, it tasted slightly bitter and the caramel and cocoa were overpowered by the dominant coffee flavour. This one gets a 3 /5-star only cuz it was served with a cookie. Else to be true, it should get a 2 /5 star.
